In 1870, a bathhouse, beer garden, small dance floor, and children's playground were the first resort facilities to appear at Cedar Point. In 1878 the bathhouses became larger, picnic, boardwalks and other features were added. 1905 was a huge year for Cedar Point, hotel breakers. Wonderful rooms, meeting rooms, barber shops, and hair salons were also added and it made people want to stay for several days.
In the 1970's and 1980's was when the park went from great to amazing! The 1990's into the millennium Cedar Point became known as the summer park to go to!
Cedar Point is located in Sandusky, Ohio and is the number-one rated amusement park on the planet. It has been rated number-one for the past 14 years. It is also the second oldest amusement park in North America.
